About Us

This group serves the need of students with career interest in the hospitality industry and provides a venue through which they may explore the field, gain experience, and learn how things work in hospitality companies and organizations. We offer students the opportunity to learn about careers in the following areas by inviting hospitality professionals as guest speakers, going on site visits and tours, and other activities that serve the interests of its members:

• hotel and resort management
• tourism
• entertainment
• dining management
• travel
• event planning

The group also researches and promotes resources to help students develop for a career in hospitality, such as potential opportunities for internships, scholarships, summer jobs, recommended elective courses, and options for graduate study.
