Marketing Department eNewsletter

Greetings!

Welcome to the Spring Semester Marketing Department eNewsletter. As I write "Spring," it reminds me that "this too shall pass," and that the snowy, chilly weather will end and that not so long from now it will be spring again. However, despite the winter weather, the Marketing Department is actively pursuing outreach, teaching, and research.

This month, the snow has unfortunately postponed our outreach Alumni and Student Networking Event TWICE, which we have now rescheduled for March 25. We hope the spring sun will entice you to meet with marketing alumni and motivated marketing students. We also look forward to hearing from our speaker and Marketing Department Outstanding Alumnus of the Year, Stewart Lander.

In a recent teaching luncheon with the Business Connections Learning Community, the Department engaged students in conversations about the marketing major and careers. This semester, we plan to take two days before registration for formally advising our majors, to ensure our students get the most of their academic experience here at UConn.

Once again, welcome to the Spring Semester edition of our newsletter. We invite you to join us in our work to make Marketing at the University of Connecticut great.

Best regards,

Bill Ross
Voya Financial Chair, Professor of Marketing,
and Interim Department Head
