Timothy Folta

Timothy Folta, professor of Management and Entrepreneurship at the UConn School of Business, was appointed to lead a committee of the National Academy of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs within the U.S. Department of Energy.

Troy Ingianni ’93, ’00 MSA/MBA

Troy Ingianni ’93, ’00 MSA/MBA, has been appointed principal accounting officer at Barnes Group, an aerospace and industrial manufacturer based in Bristol, CT. Prior to this appointment, Ingianni served as Barnes’ vice president, global controller.

Misal Panchal

MBA student Misal Panchal recently graduated from the Connecticut Society of CPAs (CTCPA) 2024 Connecticut Professionals’ Leadership Academy, a program designed to strengthen leadership skills, develop and build relationships, and create a collaborative professional services community. Panchal is currently a CPA for the Connecticut Insurance Department.

Semin Park ’19 Ph.D.

Dr. Semin Park ’19 Ph.D. has started a new position as assistant professor of Management and Organization at Penn State University’s Smeal College of Business. Prior to joining Smeal, Park was an assistant professor of Management and Entrepreneurship at the University of Iowa Tippie College of Business.
