Fueled by Curiosity and Hard Work, MSBAPM Student Wins International Sustainability Challenge
Olaoluwa ‘Ola’ Ogunseun won the U21/PwC Innovation Challenge, which brings together graduate students from 28 universities around the world. The four-month long competition, which ended in December, asked students to examine sustainability in business practices and recommend solutions.
Management Professor Nora Madjar Appointed Associate Dean
“I’ve inherited an excellent program,” said Madjar, a 20-year faculty member. “I’m excited about the future, and the ways that we can grow. I’m committed to working with students and, together with our faculty and staff, mentoring them for academic, professional and personal success.”
In her new position, Madjar will oversee the education of more than 3,000 students across five campuses. She said that today’s business undergraduate students are more focused than their peers were two decades ago.

Mark Voytek '95 MBA has been appointed to the Board of Directors of TRIPA, a human assessment platform developed to transform how human resources are valued. Voytek is founder and managing partner of Voytechnology Partners.
Mike Zacchea '12 MBA, founder of UConn’s Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans (EBV), was inducted into the Connecticut Veterans Hall of Fame Class of 2022 posthumously. Zacchea, a decorated veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, founded the EBV program in 2009. EBV offers cutting-edge, experiential training in entrepreneurship and small business management to post-9/11 veterans with disabilities resulting from their service to our country.
